Post Worthy

Here are a couple of things that are post worthy: For this year's "Do something new each Year" I bought a Handcycle and I should receive it in the next couple of months. Hopefully I will get it in August and will have enough time to train on it to do a few dozen miles on the C& O canal for the Alzheimer's ride.

The ride I ordered is a Shark S by Quickie. I got it from Bike-on.com and it's Bright RED! yeah, it's loud.

Anyway, Life is good. Later.

Spring is here

Spring is kinda here. It's gotten cold again but it's supposed to warm up in the next week. This means camping, fishing and bonfires! I'm looking forward to going back out on the boat and trying to catch that big one this year. We'll see how that goes.

In other news, I'm broke because i am using up all my money to pay of this school debt. This means, no more new or vintage guitars for a while.

Last thing, I've been looking in to accessible vacation spots in the Philippines and it looks really promising. Boracay and Puerto Galera both have good ones. I'm leaning towards Boracay tho, just because I've never been there.

This crazy little thing...

I've been at WJLA for a month now and it has been really good. I have a bunch of really cool people working with me and the atmosphere is upbeat and driven. There is a lot of work and it's always fast paced so my day goes by quite fast. It's exhausting at the end of the week tho, since my sleep patterns have not established itself yet. I need to get to bed earlier and sleep throughout the night. Other than that, I like it here.

On another note, I have been playing guitar now for about 6 months and i am getting the hang of it. What I need to do is sit down and actually work on the DVDs and CD lessons that i have here. That and take classes or something. My fingers are all beat up from playing.

Last thing, I need to work out more.

News Update

As of February 5 I have been with WJLA, working as a web graphic designer for ABC7 in Rosslyn. I still continue to do freelance work with NVCC as well as USCIS. So far, working in Rosslyn is fun, the traffic tho, i could do without.

If anyone is out at Rosslyn on a weekday, hit me up and we can do lunch, or happy hour even!
